The Atlantic Journalism Awards 2024 Gold Winner

Moving Metro was a project of the 2024 CNA journalism second-year class. The project came about after a student kept leaving class early to catch the bus. When the instructor challenged him, he told a tale of woe that included two hours on the bus each day. The instructor’s response was: Well, you folks are journalism students, maybe you should do something about it.

And they did. 

The project won Gold at the 2024 Atlantic Journalism Awards. It was a first for CNA journalism and proof that CNA journalism students punch well above their weight.
